Would anyone know if the Vango adventure tarp would attach well to the Carolina S front door? If it did, would it make much difference to cooking outside, underneath it, in bad weather, also would it give a good shade if too hot. Or would it be too small and is there another recommendation please?

Hi OSCAR2010, I recently bought a Vango Adventure tarp to use with my Zetes 300. I used it for the first time last weekend and can say that it makes a significant difference to my tent. It provides just enough space for two camp chairs beneath and I was able to cook underneath the tarp in the pooring rain without getting wet at all. It did catch the wind but being well secured didn't cause any problems. I can't comment on the Carolina S, maybe you could check out the Zetes and compare. There's video on the adventure tarp on youtube.... steve h
We used it with our Carolina s last week, was fine. Will have to lengthen the guys on the side that goes over the tent tho, and we put an extra section on the pole. Fitted ok tho, just the job
With a longer set of guys and the tent's own porch pole(s) you can use the Adventure tarp with many tall or short tents with a front arched pole. We use ours with each of the tents in our gallery including the large Vango Columbia 600 - we even offset it one side to provide a cooking shelter for the Kairos. We have loops tied in the ends of both the long and short guyropes and just loop the correct length guyrope around the fabric guying points and back through itself to secure (trapping the tip of a porch/king pole if appropriate at the same time).
Excellent bit of kit!
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
