We have our 9th wedding anniversary today. As a treat, we've managed to con the in-laws into having the kids for the night and we are trying out my brand new Quechua pop up 4 man tent this weekend.
Plan was to head down to Dorset, do some coastal path stuff and maybe some canoeing. However, the weather looks a little choice. The rain does not bother me so much but I worry about the wind.
I have purchased some Deltas today and they should be here tomorrow and I've managed to find an alternative camp for a last minute change of mind, nearer and slightly more sheltered if the OH balks at the idea of going coastal.
What's everyone else doing? Who's braving it? Do we trust the weather forecasts or just wing it and hope for the best?
