Hi petemillis,

Thanks for the info, its an interesting subject. There have been other threads regarding the "all season polyester" but I can't find them as I seem to be restricted to only going back 2 months on the threads I have taken part in. Francais might come in on this as he has made a lot of comments on the differences between that and the cotton. I seem to remember that there is some doubt also that the Cabanon material is Tencate but I am happy to be proved wrong.

As I said the Cabanon website clearly says all their materials are breathable. Perhaps we should get Cabanon to give us a definitive answer.

Hi jandjstott.

All that I know, is that, Cabanon, did various tests with Tencate "PolyCotton" and that they did not pass muster.

Cabanons "All Season Polyester" does seem to be a Tencate exclusive to Cabanon, and various caravan awning manufacturers.

There is no doubting that, in many respects "All Season Polyester", is far superior to "PolyCotton", and also gives old skool "Cotton" a run for it's money.

I think the fact that, Cabanon, came back to the market, with the Awaya range of tents, which in a way, are just "Cotton" versions of the Biscaya "All Season Polyester" tents.

In a way, that kinda answers the questions we are asking here.
