Having bought an Outwell Carolina M earlier this year (a great ten for two of us) I'm very disappointed to find that now Outwell have discontinued the side extension. Have hunted high and low on the internet and no one has one in stock.

Would be interested to hear from anyone who might have one to sell

I believe you can get a side extension that matches but a different brand. No doubt someone will come along soon to advise you. I can't remember the name of a previous thread with the details in.

I have posted on the subject of the alternative porch numerous times, there are several threads. You need to try the Gelert Horizon 6 porch, it matches well, the old ones did not have side windows, the new ones do, it is bigger than the Outwell one and has a door that can be closed off, new ones are more expensive because of the windows I suppose, if interested search on the Carolina M and there are several threads.

Just bought a Gelert Horizon 6 porch for my Carolina M for £89.99 + £4.50 postage from Camping World and I'm well chuffed with that. Thanks for the info regarding this canopy, I did'nt like the look of the outwell one and the Gelert looks the biz.

Sorry cant help you there, I have just had a look at the bag and all it says is Gelert Horizon Porch. There is no other info on the paper picture part either I am afraid.

Fine tune,

The porch sue has is the Side Porch.
I have one the same.
When they first came out they were specific
to the Horizon range of tents to fit on the side.
The end and front porches for Gelert tents
are usually specific to a particular model,
and would say so on the bag.
If you,re thinking of buying one, the only
decision you have to make is whether you want
this years new porch (with windows and some decorative
touches), or the previous model - s/h without windows,
as in Sue,s photo.
