Cabanon sent me a kit, for effecting this type of repair, fact is the pegging points are not glued in at manufacture, they are high frequency welded, not somthing that can be done as a DIY repair, even if you had the kit, to do the high frequency weld, you would still need the dedicated tooling to complete the job.

I only know this, because my Biscaya had a couple of the internal securing points, for the befdroom pod, missing when new!, the internal points also but up against some of the pegging points.

Cabanon high frequenzy welded the missing points into place, even though I could have used the glue and spare points, and done the job myself, but they explained that a glued repair may not be permanent, were as a welded repair would be.

As you say, there is glue on your pegging point, I am guessing that it has been repaired before, in a DIY fashion, did you buy the tent from new?.

My ZiG at the time, was returned to Cabanon France, to have the work done, under warranty of course, and is now perfect, that was back in 2008.

The repair kit was sent to me, before Cabanon realised that it was a in warranty issue, the glue in the kit is Carmo PVC - PUR SEAL and is intended for the repair of failed high frequenzy welds.
