A good gimmick but since the sides of the tent are only 1000mm HH then they fall below the British Standard of 1500mm and cannot be classed as waterproof.

Unless you put the tent on its side and stand a 1 metre tall column of water on it then it shouldn't be a problem.

I think that the ones that were being sold for £50 had leaky seals.  I was very tempted!  This one is way too expensive me thinks!
