Ok the search isn't working, I'm getting a 'Sorry, the search is temporarily unavailable.' message so can't find out the info I want.

Is seam sealer PVA glue? I know there are different dilutions for different purposes but is it? my brother has loads of the stuff so seems daft of me to buy a small 60ml bottle if it's the same stuff.

Not all pva glue is waterproof, seam sealer is silcone based I think, so different stuff.

Thanks for the response, searching the net there appears to be two types of sealer one silicone based and the other water based hence thinking PVA. Think I need to find out what is used on my tent first. I have also read you can use clear bathroom silicone sealant thinned with mineral spirits although the mixing is a task in itself.

Water based Seam Sealer can be used on Polyester and Cotton tents. Seam Sealer with PVA glue is only for Polyester Tents.
