I bought a Sunncamp Grange 6 berth tent brand new a few years ago and has only been used a handful of times. On the last occasion a few months ago I encountered an awful flaw in the bedrooms pods and skirt where basically the groundsheet in the bedroom pods is discintergrating and basically covers you from head to toe in blue specks.
This means we have a redundant tent as my little man suffers from excema and brought his skin up really bad.
I am in liasion with Sunnflair who make this tent but they are dragging their heels saying they are waiting to hear from their manufacturer in China. Nearly a month has passed with lots of heated phone calls and still no resolution.
Has anyone else has problems with this happening at all, as they are saying this has never happened before? Well they would say that wouldn't they!!!!

How strange! Welcome to the forum. As Kate says, awning inners or bedroom inners from a similar design...probably work out cheaper than loads of lengthy phonecalls (and a whole lot less stressful too!).We have the sunncamp maison and don't have that problem, very weird
------------- March- Padstow
April- Forest Glade
June-Grizedale
July-Jedburgh
and lots more besides
I don't think I'd buy new inners myself. Although the tent is out of guarantee, but has only been used a handful of times, this is a fault in the materials used in manufacture, so IMO it's Sunnflair's responsibility to sort it out They should supply you with new inners, even if they have to get them made specially for you.
The only advice I would give you is to write to them, to save you the cost of 'phone calls, and it's easier to put everything you want to say in a letter, whereas with a 'phone call you can often forget to tell them some details.

What about buying a very cheap tarp, cutting it to size, and then use spray glue to bond it on top of the faulty fabric. It's not really fair, but it would solve the problem for about ten pounds.
This problem has been mention on here before, but I can't remember which manufacturer it was.
------------- Canvas tent, paraffin light, petrol stove. Heaven
I'd rather be kayaking.
Spent up, not pent up, just had my new tent up.
Hi all - thankyou for all your replies. If I had bought the tent second hand I would have no option and would probably do a DIY job replacing inners but to be honest I think the fault lies with them.
I had initially written a long detailed letter and also included photos etc and had no reply which I think is really back customer service no even acknowledging the letter.
Yesterday I spoke to the General Manager (apparantly) who assured me that I would get an answer within a week.

If you read this post and have the same problem I would really appreciate it if you could post the info.
