Just come across these from Coleman for 2012: http://www.outdoorworld.co.uk/coleman-instant-4-tent-pre-order and http://www.outdoorworld.co.uk/coleman-instant-tourer-4-tent-pre-order.

I also found a video of a Coleman instant tent the other day (a version of the latter one), so its not new to Coleman even if new to the UK. Looks as if its inspired by the Khyam tents.

I'm quite intrigued, although not sure about the amount of ventilation, joint strength and how you'd dry one in a confined space given the in-built poles and WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER TENT. The American version had a 150 denier flysheet but whether the UK versions will...?

Still waiting to see what Kampa will come up with for next year. From the Kampa 2012 showing appearing on retailer websites it looks as if they are continuing with the Frinton, Filey and Hayling, but no idea what new ranges they are bringing out yet.

Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!

Doesn't seem to have an inner tent which could mean heavy condensation problems.Such a system would work better with cotton / polycotton.

A purchaser would have to have room in their garden to dry off a wet tent, there's no way that could be dried indoors. It's pretty ugly though, but with the straight walls it would be very practical with plenty of useable standing height space inside.

Totaly agree, not the best looking. But handy for having as a second tent. If you arrive on site and the weather is terrible . This is usually the time when accidents happen so therefore you could use the quick errect tent to begin with so as to have shelter . Then when the weather got better you could pitch your decent tent. Will look into this........

The instant 4 has an Inner with divider (its one inner wich you can divide in two inners).

The instant tourer 4 doesn't have an inner. weight will probably be around 10kg.
