Hiya all

Long time no speak!!

Need a spot of advice, does anyone know if there is a kids room that will fit into a Nevada M? I have one for our Sun Valley 8 but I know that they don't make one for the Nevada (or if they do I can't find one!!) Any advice greatly appreciated

I'm bumping this because i've just bought a nevada M and would be interested in getting a kids room too.  Anyone know?

not too sure whether kids rooms are a thing of the past for outwell unless you buy a tent from the fantasy collection. i wanted one for my vermont xl 2011 but i just came up on dead ends. could get one for an earlier model but the fixing points were in different places.

The short answer is No. The kids rooms have been discontinued and from memory im sure that the vermont and the nevada are more modern tents than the range of kids rooms accomodated at the time they came out. Bear in mind kids get older and the rooms become pretty much useless. We were going to invest in one for our norfolk lake for our daughter but to be honest its a bit of a gimmick.

Thanks for the info guys! I must just say a good word for the kids rooms though, we have been taking our wee ones camping since they were 10 months old and the kids room has been a god send. They were not comfortable in the high normal bedroom so the lower ceiling height and darker fabric helped plus the game is quite fun for small ones. They also liked that fact that they had a space that felt more "theirs" and as soon as the tent went up they would run into their room. It bever bothered me that they woudl outgrow it as we had the other bedroom to swap it with anyway (besides I might have quite liked to sleep in it lol!)

Hi, I bought a Nebraska XL kids room for my Outwell Nevada M and moved the position of the elastics/toggle fasteners to make it fit. Kids loved it and it made bed times and a rainy afternoon much easier! only used on one week camping trip 3 years ago, now they are 10 and 13 I think they will consider themselves too old for it! Time to stick it on eBay! Great for 1 to 9 year olds.

We bought one from the fantasy range to fit our Vermont XLP, made a few adjustments when the tent was up and it fits fine.

do you think a kids room for a wolf lake 5 would fit into a nevada m? There is one on fleabay at the moment. I hadn't really thought about it before but a darker room would be great for the boys...

I would have a look at the pod dimensions of each tent to see how they match up. If they are similar I would go for it just use a bit of elastic and a bit of sewing to add new hanging points if needed
