Hi
The 2010 model has outex 3000 fabric while the 2011 model has been upgraded to outex 4000
The 2011 model also has the Outwell wind stabilisation system and toggle up curtains.
Cant help with the kids room though

hi folkes
hope you dont mind but ive just joined and need some advice.ive just purchased the magic 5 and was wondering weather to get ripped off and purchase the footprint for £50 or get a heavy duty piece of tarpaulin made to measure for £28 delivered. ive purchased the carpet so £400 already spent.
any more advice would be appreciated.

Hi chalky46,
i am just about to get the footprint for our magic tent.
i don't know if tarp would do the same job as i have always bought the footprints to go with the tent.I think i read on another post something to do with the footprints are made of different stuff than tarp, that make them better underneath?????
Have to say had the tent up at the weekend and its a cracking wee tent.my kids loved the room and the play wall,we also bought side extention which is great for the cooker ect, leaves more room in tent.
