Those are the instructions for the Challenger, the Classic XL5 has a different front layout with one front centre pole, the door to one side and a window to the other side. I will see if I still have the instructions.

What do you mean by ridge pole ends?
Do you mean the nylon inserts in the ends of the ridge pole to fit over the upright poles?

Kikiglis...I've got 2 unused ones left over from our old Challenger Royale. Very easy to break unless you take the frame down carefully. one says 3/4".
