I would go for the Lake, then again because i own one and it was a great 10 days camping last year in this tent.
You can see my pics and comments in the review section, my lake is the one with the Montana 6 awning added, this makes for a great sized setup. Not too difficult to get together neither. Truly an excellent tent.
The pics show my Lake pitched against my parents Montana 6, to be fair the polyester Montana 6 was a great tent but the lake version just felt so much better. Warmer when needed at night and cooler in the midday sun too. You can see the taughtness of the poycotton too, it also felt so much heavier. (then again it is sooo much heavier.
My parents bought their setup, Montana 6 2011 model, 2011 awning, footprint, carpet, fridge, cooker etc, etc. just to join in and holiday with ourselves and the grand children. To be fair camping really wasn't for them, Far to used to hotels and cruises. Great setup used only for one week up for sale very soon, just need to work out a fair price and then get it on ebay for them. Hope i am not going against any moderator rules by slipping that one in.
Regards,
Andy
