Hi, does anyone have or know about a sun canopy for this tent? I need one before the start of the season, OR a tent with a pyramide (that way I have one for spares!..).
Please let me know.

Just been in the tent review section to see if there was any info on the Pyramide 6.Unfortunately no,but for the Pyramide 4 the 1st reviewer mentions using the extra awning/extension with his. Not too sure, but if the 4 has this extra awning/ extension you should be safe to assume the 6 has one too.The 4 is listed as discontinued, which may be true of the 6...There maybe an awning/extension for the 6 out there in the darkest corner of e bay land..Or you could put a request for one in the free ads on here...

It's a problem I have too. In that I'd like a canopy for my pyramide 6, I've emailed different suppliers with no joy. Looked to see if a cabanon barbados would fit, but the measurements don't fit.

I'm always on the look out, but as there are a few of us wanting a canopy, it puts the price up because of demand.

I have the obelink cotton tarp which I may adapt, or horror of horrors I wondered if I could match a gazebo, it would have to be the right sort though.

I think camping is all about adapting to our needs, I hope you find one, let us know if you come across any stock, else I'll see you on ebay for a bidding war if one comes up

They used to produce a canopy for the Pyramide 6, because I can remember when Camping and General were selling them off for £12! Yes, it's many years ago and no, I didn't buy one, but I asked if it would fit the Guadeloupe we had back then (it wouldn't, so I didn't buy!).

Ebay is probably your best bet.

Thanks for all your helpful replies. It does occur to me that getting a tarp made to fit might be the answer, the mudwalling might present a challenge but in reality I suppose this is the best option. If I take this challenge on, I'll keep you all posted, and of course keep the measurements!

Bet you could have one made? TVS in bolton spose to be good, they can make most stuff for you at a reasonable cost.

Surely it just attaches to the top poles so a new model should be fine. Look here

If the holes are in the wrong place thats easily sorted. However the price is a lot for just a piece of Canvas and 2 poles!
Or buy the Pyramid 6 in Cambridge advertised on Preloved it comes with a canopy I think.
