Its a bit big for two of us but what a deal for a family this would take longer to set up than our tent.

Vic's the name please don't rub it in.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
Crikey, at that price I would expect the tent to pitch itself and put the kettle on!
I always thought the fun part of camping was erecting the tent whilst falling out with the family.... (otherwise you might as well get a caravan or motor home),

Yes Very expensive but cheap for a Kasten, when I read you can now pay £1799 for a Outwell Yosemite Falls Tent 2012 that I dont think are in the same class as the karsten.
For me the fun is the ease and speed of errecting a tent even when a gale is blowing then putting the kettle on.

I think the price of Karstens is far more than most campers are prepared to pay for a tent even if they had the money, a tent needs to be good but not that good. Its ok if you know you are going to be using the same tent for 15yrs but most folk don't even know if they will be wanting the same tent in 3yrs time.
