We've bought a Kalahari 8 from Ebay but, having done a test pitch, we discovered that the bedroom pods did not fit and came to the conclusion that they were for the Kalahari 10. The Ebay seller was excellent and sent us another set of bedroom pods. However, having compared the new ones to the old ones, we can't tell the difference.
Do any of you lovely people know if their is a simple way to tell the difference between the two.
Cheers.

Hi Daz, we have the Kalahari 8 bought from Go Outdoors last year, I have been on their website checking the dimensions of the bedroom pods for you,for the K8 sizes are 152 x 210 x 210 = 4 pods, for the K10 240 x 215 x 220 = 2 pods and 160 x 215 x 220 = 2 pods, in other words if you have 2 large and 2 small then they are for the K10 hopefully you can find a way to measure them.
Tricia - thanks for doing that.I actually took a quick trip to GoOutdoors to have a look at the two tents. Going by the ones they have up, it would seem that the easiest way to tell the difference is by the three clip straps at the top of the pod. On the 8 - the red strap is in the centre, on the 10 - it is the left of the three (the flysheet end of the red strap is in the centre on both models).
Martin - whilst that would seem the common-sense option, lack of space to pitch at home is a problem, but thanks for the suggestion.
For info, I bought the tent from Ebay seller Alchemistic (mentioned in another thread) and would like to point out that they have been very helpful and quick in replying to my messages.

A quick way to tell the difference between the 8 and 10 is the storage pockets on the outside of the bedrooms. I.f itsingle width its an 8, if its 2 pockets side by side its the bedroom pod for the 10
