I am expecting the delivery of my lovely new bell tent and had to share my excitement. My fiancee and dog are also Muchos excited!! I've become a little obsessive with the accessories too, spending close to the price of the tent!! Lights, rugs, throws etc. My fiancee's favourite so far is the Coleman love seat with a Japanese dragon design throw!
I don't think I can wait until the first week in May for It's first outing!! The only thing left to source is a 'robust' kitchen cooking area. The ones we have used in the past had detatchable larders which could hold the weight of no more than a tin of beans before it collapsed. Any/ all suggestions greatly received!!
Look forward to seeing you all in a field soon!! (We will be the ones glowing like a beacon!!)
Richard, Becca and Jasper.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

Brill!! Love this idea of using the Quechua for storage!! I was looking more for a foldable cooking area (i didn't make this very clear sorry!) such as this...
We use one of these for the cooker to sit on and one of these to store stuff in. They are very sturdy, and very easy to erect, they just unfold in a matter of seconds. Shelves are rigid and they come in sturdy carry bags. Have had several camp kitchens over the years but these are the best by far, and have lasted the longest.
Enjoy your bell - we bought one before Christmas and are planning our first outing next weekend - I can't wait!

That's very useful and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot!!
Have a great weekend away! I'm jealous!! I might have to put it up in the garden and stay in there for a few days to curb my excitement!! I'm pretty sure Becca won't have a problem with this! haha
You will love it, the space is fantastic, we love being in ours, lots of room to stand up and move about on those not so nice days. Only thing I found is that most standard camping furniture doesn't somehow look right in it. We have got a low cupboard to store some stuff, but I've had to decorate it a bit and I'm not sure our camp beds look the part, but comfort won out. Enjoy raiding the house for bits for it.
Thanks guys! I think you may be right about loving it!! The bell arrived on my doostep this morning!! Unfortunately I work long days so I will be praying for good weather on wednesday for a trial pitch!
I know what you mean about finding bits for it Sleedale, I can't tear myself away from the PC adding to it! I have rugs, small tables, throws, pretty fairy lights! I recently upgraded my car from a hatchback to an estate to accomodate all of this gear!
Ooooh exciting, test pitch Wednesday, will keep fingers crossed for dry weather. Enjoy, and don't forget, wheelbarrows are dead good at moving stuff you want to 'test' inside it
