I have an Eldarado and would love a porch on it. Something like this
I have the Obelink tarp but its nice as a sunshade its just too long to fit like the one for the Barbados and no good in any wind. What I really need is a tarp that is 3m x approx 1.8m (long and narrow). All the ones I have seen are mostly square which is no good. Also I dont really want to pay more than the price of the tent for a bit of tarp. That Cabanon one at £238 is just far too expensive. A nice piece of canvas of the right dims, some clingons and adjustable poles should work Any ideas for the canvas??

you could always cut a tarp down to the size you want or get someone to adjust one for you.  I'm planning to add an awning bead on ours so I can use it as a sun shade on the van

I got the obelink tarp when I bought the Eldorado. I also found it too big and thought about selling it on but I think I am going to cut it down to more like the size you are talking about. I got one of the german canvas tarps off ebay which I've used with the bell and that's good, but again it's a square shape.

Could you fold your tarp in half, attach to tent and use cling ons or similar for poles and guys? Would save cutting up a good tarp and makes it more useable?
Not sure if this would work, not tried it, but worth go maybe?

Try contacting this company - it says they make them to your size requirements and they are pretty cheap too.

How far does the front dip down on the eldorado?

If you attach a tarp will there be a slope downwards from the top of the tent under the tarp?

Val. i think it would slope down so water would go under the tarp. I dont mind that though. Perhaps some rivetted hotes for the top of the front poles to go in set back would work. Thanks for the tip i will contact that company or just buy one of their tarps and modify.
