Whilst looking to purchase a new larger tent for use this year, I came across the following Gelert tent on Tesco's website which, when compared to the price of similar tents, seems far too good to be true.
I have searched for this tent elsewhere but cannot find any information on it, bar a couple of listings on eBay. Googling 'Gelert Corona' throws up more information on the rucksack of the same name than anything on the tent. Does anybody know if this tent is listed on Tesco under the correct name, or can anyone tell me of a corresponding tent by Gelert or another brand that would enable me to purchase carpets/footprints etc. to fit this Corona 6 model?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info - I think we'll order it and see what it's like in the flesh. We're still new to camping and wanted a taller tent with more living space but don't want to spend a small fortune just yet - this seems like it may tick the boxes we need so might be worth a gamble.
We had been looking at the Atlantis 5 originally and the Corona looks like a larger version of that in the picture.
hi, i am also interested in the corona 6 for the family and i, but cannot find any imfor on it. my biggest question is has it got an electrical entry piont, the closest thing that looks like it is like you said the alantis 5 and that is a good tent, let me know on how you get off with it.

We've just bought one of these. We haven't camped in it yet but we did put it up in the back garden and it looks good. I can't remember if it has an electrical entry point (to be honest we didn't look, we never use EHU). Vango do a universal footprint which seems to be the right size and we will be purchasing one soon. You can find it here: www.campingspares.co.uk/acatalog/info-1150.html

Looks very much like a 6 version of the Gelert Atlantis 5. Very similar design

I've just put up a review of this tent. The living space floor area is approximately 250 x 380 cm and there are two large windows. If you read the review you will see that we split three sections of pole, largely due to our not using storm pegs and the wind completely changing direction and blowing at 50+ mph. In spite of that we are really happy with the tent.
I mentioned a Vango universal footprint; I bought one but they sent the wrong size so can't say for sure if it does fit. (And there is no electrical entry point.)
