Have just bought a 2nd hand Vango Diablo and need to find carpet and footprint to fit.

Have looked at old posts on site re other makes that are similar in size but all of them are old models too so can't get them either (Lichfield Appalachian, Vango Killington or Outwell Hartford for carpet which would have been perfect fit.

I know I can buy 80gsm tarpaulin which people say cut to fit as last resort but would rather get footprint instead.

Any help gratefully received.

Hi try the Royal website there Biarritz 6 was very similar so they may still have some stock. I think that tent was discontinued too though. The Biarritz 9 was like the Diablo 900 so the carpet should fit but you'd have to lose a bedroom off the footprint. Hope this helps. If you're local to me I've got a biarritz 9 carpet sat in the shed!

Just googled Royal Biarritz 9 and there are still footprints available through some suppliers.

Thanks for this, we are in Bedfordshire so a bit of a trek to Devon :-)

I thought the reason camping shops pushed the footprints for tents was because the footprint was an exact copy of the tent shape, the Biarritz 9 footprint looks rectangular but the tent isn't.

is that for the old style Diablo?

we had this tent and when we had it there was no such thing as footprints or carpets, just used picnic rugs etc in the middle, never botherer with a groundsheet, just made sure it was clean before packing away

It seems the ones on Ebay are for the new style Diablo as Vango have bought it back for 2012 but smaller so neither the footprint or carpet fit the old style one.
