I use 2 large picnic blankets in the bedroom pod - very cosy!

someone on here posted a link to a site with some bargain carpets on.... you might be able to cut to bedroom size and at £5 or £6, it might be cheaper than a picnic blanket. (pattern is pretty garish, mind you!)

Picnic blankets here too, plus fleece blankes under the actual bed. Mine were dead cheap from Tesco a couple of years ago.

I've used picnic blankets for years - someone on here did mention that they may not be fire-proofed which I'd never thought about. Doesn't worry me, and I'll continue to use my picnic blankets, but best to have it in mind.

------------- Is it Friday yet?

Yep:) I saw that link too and got us a couple of the cheap & cheerful Royal Panama 4 Tent Carpets for a bargain £4.92 each + posting!! That's cheaper than a picnic blanket & much bigger (trying them out for the first time this weekend but looking at them one should fit two bedroom pods:) Here's the link for the Panama Carpet (hopefully!):

We use the tent carpet from a Kampa Minnis 4 for our son's bedroom which is the right length, only slightly narrower and no more expensive or bulky than 2 quality picnic blankets. As it is a dedicated tent carpet from a quality manufacturer it is flame retardant.
Picnic blankets aren't flame retardant and silver foil blankets don't perform well in the presence of a flame (we've tried one) - so we wouldn't use them across the floor of the tent undermining the flame retardancy and escape time provided by the tent itself.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
