Hello Vango Icarus 500 owners. I'm considering a icarus 500 (2012 model) or a OUtwell Virginia 5. Vango mention a lights out inner tent. I'm just wondering how good this is. With 2 little ones the darker the inner tent the better. As I dont really relish 4 am wake ups. lol.

The Icarus bedrooms are slightly darker than the Outwell ones. I don't think it makes too much difference though.

We have an Icarus and find it brilliant. Our wee one ( 2 yrs old ) is up at the crack of dawn at home, and that's with blackout curtains. When we camp though she sleeps till much later.
We have the older model Icarus. The laurel meadow colour, and to be honest I'm not too sure if it's slightly darker outer than the moss green.
We had thought of using some lightweight black fabric over the top of the bedroom if it wasn't dark enough but no need really.
