We are thinking of downsizing from Nevada M to Kampa Hayling 4, has anyone got one of these tents, and if so, how do you rate it. there are just two of us camping.

My parents have got the hayling 6,fantastic tent, worth every penny, lots of room, good head height, the walls are near vertical, easy to put up,light inside thanks to the large windows, darker panel above sleeping pod so its not to light in the morning.great value for money, thi.kng of getting one myself for weekends.
having been back to winfields today, i think we've decided agains the hayling 4 - the living space is only 140cm wide - not really big enough for sitting in with all the gear etc.now the problem - what to buy? need good tent, 4 or 5 berth with decent living space and maybe a built in porch - any suggestions?

Funnily enough we saw a Kampa Hayling 4 today in our local camping shop as we are looking for a weekend tent for 2 adults and one child. It does look ideal for weekend stays and has the bonus that it has a small built in canopy which would help with the problem of rain water entering the tent when you open the tent door withour the need for a separate canopy and the pack size is really small for a family tent. The price is also a really good £169. We are seriously considering it.....

Easy Camp Boston 500. We have last years 400 and its been such a good tent I am thinking of getting this years 500 as you can buy an enclosed awning. PamJ
The 400 is big enough for two for sure and that can have the awning too.
I dont know about the Kampa Hayling 4 but we have a Kampa Croyde 6 (for 2 of us) and I cant speak highly enough about the Kampa tents, we are in our 3rd season with ours and we are very pleased with it

We have 2 adults and a child in the Kampa Bude 4 which is 140cm in the living area and curves in rather than going straight up too so would seem smaller. We have adjusted our weekend setup so it is more streamlined and the whole thing takes so much less time that we now have a far more effective weekend set up with space for 3. I guess if you stay on the site all day it could be confining in the wet, but there is plenty of room to move around and for 2 people to sit around a table. It just depends what else you take with you.
------------- Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!
