Has anyone else had any problems with fitting it and did it keep over the top of the extension, as we found it wouldn't when it is windy.
We are having to adapt it by putting clips on the top seam to see if that will help it stay on.

We had fun and games with our Morpheous 6 one, the trick was to get the velcro really tight, then to tighten the cords. It still had some gaps around the edges, but held up really well in pouring rain.
We used ours again at jubilee but we had sewn some of the same clips like the ones on the side on the top seam and it worked a treat. Very happy campers this weekend :-)
We have just purchased the Morpheus 8 after reading the reviews and falling in love with the size and spec. We are well aware that there are problems with the porch fitting and I am interested to know how others have made adaptions to hold the porch in place when the wind picks up. Hopefully this is something we can do too before we take the tent on its maiden voyage. Where do I get the clips from?...How do I sew them in? Thanks

Velcro? Oh, maybe we didn't notice it either! I will have a good look when we have a re-run. If not maybe that is something we could think of using instead of clips. Cheersx

Hi congrats on the new tent we love ours. We got the clips from wingfields where we bought the tent from. We told him about the problems we'd had with the fitting and he gave us some spare clips that had really been for an Outwell tent not sure which one but they were a perfect fit. We just attached them to the top seam of the porch one on either side and then in the middle we attached a metal ring opposite where the middle piece of Velcro is and used a piece of guy rope to tie it on. It's sounds complicated but once you put it up it will all make sense. Next time we go (in July)I will take a pic and try put them on here. Hope the info helps. We realised what we needed to do after the first camp with it so you may have to do that too. But it worked great.

Yeah no probs, they look exactly like the clips that attach to every pole on the tent down the sides but maybe just slightly larger as it has to fit the pole with the tent material on it .when is your first trip.
