do you have ehu ? with the recent tragedies i wouldnt recommend a gas heater

With a bit of common sense of course you can. Would recommend electric heaters over gas though such as a small fan heater or an oil filled radiator. Just make sure the heater is sat on something stable away from anything that can catch fire. If you have kids/pets, then even more precaution is needed.
