for the last 14 years we have used a canvas Trigano 6 berth frame tent. It has been fabulous with the ability to spend a rainy day indoors quite happily and cook safely with the special indoor kitchen area.
We now need to replace this tent as the bedroom compartments are falling apart and due to no built in groundsheet, we do get rain comming in.
Can anyone give advice if the modern style of tunnel tents are safe to cook in.

Hi, we've got a Hi Gear Corado 6, this has a built in canopy and we've also got the canopy extension, we have all the kitchen stuff and table and chairs out there, with the extension on the outdoor space is as big as the indoor living area. It's easier to clean the separate groundsheet if there's any spillages, the tents not full of smoke and cooking smells, no condensation from boiling or simmering stews and most importantly, given recent events, no CO build up.
On most of the brand name polyester tents there is a label saying "Fire retardent material keep away from naked flame" or at least on our ones it does. Dont think you would get on too well with a polyester one though after 14 years with a canvas tent
