we've been looking at this tent but ive just realised that the tent package is 29Kg - the reason for getting rid of the outwell nevada m was because we want to down size and that was only 18k

if any one has the sunncamp family vario can you please say does it come in more than one package or is it a really big cumbersome pack?

Kind of redundant (me replying) because we don't have the Vario but anyway - we've got the Sunncamp Ventura.

Dimensions are almost the same, yet the tent weighs in at 16kgs. It comes in one large bag, so maybe the Vario does too, or something of similar size will? Good luck finding the right tent.

gosh thats a big difference isnt it?  im trying to find somewhere the tent is on display but i think as its an older model it wont be up anywhere. thanks for taking the time to send your message - what do you think of the sunncamp tent?

I/we haven't been out in it yet, bought it a few weeks ago (I'm a camping returnee). I have put it up (easy) and was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it actually is. I mean - I knew from the dimensions but actually having it up provides you with the reality.

I know someone that had one (found out after we got ours) and they loved theirs. Got shut because they figured they'd gotten old enough to deserve a bit of luxury when holidaying

Weight wise I can carry it easily enough, no real strain. The tent comes in one bag, the tent poles another, the pegs the same, then everything goes inside one well-constructed carry-all.

For the record we got ours because it ticked the boxes we'd created. Easy to erect and haul around. Sturdy and well-made. Big enough for me and my (teenage) daughter or all three of us in the event OH decides he's coming. Good price, reliable enough brand-name, so on and so forth.

You get the picture. And I am more than looking forward to using it
