well folks, after all the deliberations it appears we have settled on the Kampa Fistral 4 for our new tent.  OH likes the fact it comes with built in front porch and i like the fact that the whole of the front wall can be rolled back - making more open space.have yet to order but feel happy and excited, hope it arrives in time fornext weekend.  Any one got one of these???

We don’t have one but the Kampa tents do get good reviews. I quite like the look of the Kapma Frinton 4 classic and for a polycotton tent I think it is a good price at around £429. I’m not sure but has the Fistral range been discontinued by Kampa?

yes, i do think its discontinued now, Springfield camping had a 2009 model in stock but no carpet.  i ordered my tent from camping international but i imagine its end of stock.  struggling to get green/grey carpet to fit now :(

I've got a Fistral 4 - bought last year from Kampa for £40 in their factory seconds eBay sale! It's fantastic, I am a 5ft6 woman and have no problem pitching this on my own, tons of space, well made, great porch, love it! I'm a Kampa fan anyway so I knew it would be fab!
