karen37 that is a great idea. I'm about to hack down a cheap carpet to fit our bedroom pods and I might sew some elastic toggles into the pods and onto the corners of the carpet...

To be honest if they are for the bedroom you will probably find that the weight of your bed (SIM/Campbed/Airbed) will hold the mats in place. We use picnic rugs and they do not move in the bedrooms (we use SIM).

Outdoor Leisure have some cheap carpets, but you will need to check the size. The colour may not float your boat.

Aldi also have some cheap picnic rugs on offer from 31st May here Again the colours may not float your boat. Depneding on the size of your bedrooms you may not see much of the carpet/rugs anyway

Hi Karen

I'm in Portishead. Not far! Tent is up in garden although I think it may need to come down tonight as the chap who tried to deliver the carpet (again) said he couldn't get to the safe place as the tent was a trip hazard!!

I still can't believe the price either Karen, although can you confirm something on yours please if you can remember, as I may have worked it out and wonder if I got a seconds. Shouldn't be, as he didn't say it was, but on the photos online they show a bright yellow border surrounding insides of windows and window zips but ours is just the brown zips if that makes sense!

Bit of an old thread !.. did buy the kampa filey 6 carpet, but has arrived with a snag in it! So will be going back, have now bought the Outwell montana 6 one, was for 2012 model which I assume is still ok ? Got it for £55 all in at cotswold outdoor, currently in the sale :-)

Just one word of caution, the 2012 carpets did have one or two negative comments about the quality..

Now have the Outwell carpet, no idea what previous versions are like but this has a very thin fleece flanel, with no foam layer. Our old sunncamp one imho was really nice in comparison, thicker fleece and a thin foam layer (was four times the size in volume though), shame it's too small for the filey ! The pvc layer of the Outwell does feel much better though, thicker and stronger. The kampa one was nice, but wasn't keen on the texture of a non fleece flanel, and could easily be caught !
