Hi,

In my search for a new Family tent I have discovered the VANGO ORCHY 600 which seems alright for us. But reading reviews doesn't reveal 2 things:

1. Does it come with mosquito net on all openings of the outer-room?

2. From the pictures it shows that the sleeping area is divided into two sections. Can it be configured so that there is only 1 large sleeping room?

Cant help with the flymesh but our friends bedroom is a single 6 person pod with a roll back divider so yes it can be made into one large bedroom

Re - flymesh - it depends on the year of the model. If the bottom of the front door is made of the same material as the rest of the flysheet and curved then they should have flymesh. If the base of this door is effectively a drop down section of the groundsheet then no - only the side door is likely to have flymesh.

Love our set-up and need no more tents or gear, so trying to stop looking!

Thanks for your replies, and apologies for the late response. As english isn't my native language, I'm not quite sure what you are saying Speedcamp. I have written Vango support and hopefully they can tell me exactly what model (year) I need to look for if I want the flymesh.

However I don't have any high hopes on getting a reply.

Could you elaborate a little? What is a "flysheet" and how can a door be a drop down of the groundsheet? Sorry but I don't get it :)

If it helps, ours is a 2009 Orchy and:

1. The bed doors have mesh at the top.

2. There is a hanging divider which can be unhooked and removed.

Thanks Mike,

I also got reply from Vango (excellent) that "The 2011 and the 2012 version have mesh options on all the flysheet doors".

Thanks to all, we're going for this tent I think.
