Has anybody used or know if you can use the Outwell Nevada M awning and attatch the canopy onto the front of the awning.
Looking at the awning it looks feasable as it seems to replicate the front of the Nevada tent just wondering if anyone tried it as i havent seen the awning in real life only through website!

This thought has crossed my mind too, however, I am waiting until later in the year when the price of the awnings start coming down :-)
Whether it will work or not I don't know, but I think it should, you may have to extend the straps possibly where the canopy normally connects to the main tent.
I asked outwell and they said "no" because both the extension and awning are 10cm wider than the tent (ie they will fit nicely onto the tent but being the same size, they won't fit onto each other)
HOWEVER, we have both and intend to join them together if the weather is bad... (I can't believe 10cm makes that much difference )
So although we have not yet tried it, I saw a lady who had a monty where she joined both awning and then extension and it worked perfectly and I understand that there is the same design there ie both awning and extension 10cm wider than the tent but the same size as each other.
I shall be able to report back further in 3weeks if that would be helpful....?
That will be a lot of extra tent hope it doesnt get too windy when its up and you have some decent tent pegs poor little nevada will be swamped by it all

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again

Well I have ordered 1 as I got it for £155 delivered which wasn't too bad.
They do seem to be coming down in price as they were £184. Maybe an even cheaper option is to price match against Go Outdoors for an additional 10% off = £139.49
The extension fits nicely on the front of the awning no problems. Plenty of adjustment on the clips that fasten to the rings at the base of the poles so you don't notice the 10cm difference.
It makes the tent just a smidgen over 8mtrs long tho!
Will post photo shortly!

Probably wouldn't add the extension on an exposed pitch!!!! Just the awning!
The total length was 8.2mtrs Adding extension to awning probably adds about 1.5 mtrs total as it over laps quite a bit but provides a covered doorway as it does on the original tent.
I think a Nevada XL with only awning would be longer or about same.
Always go on big pitches as usually have a Coleman event shelter up too but prob won't bother now.
