Hi
We've got the corado 6 and its a great tent, very roomy inside.
Its heavy though due to the metal poles, but sturdy. It comes in 2 bags.
Look at the reviews for the tent. My only grumble with it, is that you have to push to front poles together, which causes the SIG to ruck up a bit, if not the door doesn't shut properly and causes strain on the zip. However its a great tent and I'd recommend it to anybody.
If you want all metal poles (the corado has metal on the sides and the plasticky ones over the top), then why don't you look for a second hand frame tent on e-bay? You should be able to get a decent one for the price that you've got to spend.
HTH?

We had the same problem with our Horizon 6.So I bought a replacement pole set and replaced the sections as they split, the replacement pole sections for some reason always seemed to be stronger than the orginal.Once a section was replaced we never had a problem with it,could be a cheaper option than a new tent.We eventually down sized to a Vango Samara 400,which we have used twice now,and has been reviewed on this site.

I must disagree, we've got the 2012 model Corado 6 and canopy and all poles and parts of, are made from steel, making the bag heavy, but the tent incredibly sturdy.
I've read a few old reviews on the corados and alot of them state this problem with the door not closing properly and the SIG folding down at the entrance, creating draughts. After talking with the staff at GO Outdoors before making my purchase I was told that these problems had been rectified, and I can confirm that they have. As mentioned earlier, all poles are completely steel, also, there is a flyscreen on the front door which zips fully round in a 'D' fashion (creating a 'step over' to get in) with the fly outer zipping fully down vertically to ground level.
I cannot recommend this tent highly enough, excellent quality for a lot less money than some of the so-called 'superior brands'
As mentioned by an earlier poster, I'm sure Go Outdoors have a Package deal on offer sometime this month, I managed to pick ours up (Tent, carpet + canopy) all for £250, a combination of a really good deal to start with, with a little bit of good luck by being under charged.
