well, after all the searching we finally plumped for the Kampa Fistral 4 - it has really turned out to be the tent we were hoping it would be - with built in porch and good living space. The bedroom is great, we took the middle curtain out to fit our camp beds in and had loads of room. The sleeptite technology really came into its own in the mornings, not total darkness obviously but definately less bright in the mornings than other tents weve had. The bright green guy ropes and zips are a great feature as is the front door which you can have open half way or open out the whole front wall of the tent.
We ordered the tent from Camping International on the sunday and it arrived on the wednesday - we took it to red bank farm at Morecambe for the weekend. Unfortunately we found a really small tear in the fabric of the tent so we had to ring up and ask for a replacement. Camping International were fabulous, there was no quibble, and the arranged for the tent to be collected and another dropped off, which happened within three days! just in time for our next camping for the jubilee weekend at Wood Nook, Threshfield!!
Well impressed with the tent and Camping International!!
