 I bought a 2nd hand Cabanon it also needed new rubbers  best I found, through this site are the Isabella Isaflex rubbers in packs of 10. They are made from 6mm shock cord, i think. No sticky rubber  to stick to your tent, the plastic fitting goes into the D ring next to the old original rubber, Just cut off all the old rubbers and replace them with the Isaflex ones. As far as re-proofing your tent I would pitch it first and let the rain really soak it, That's all we did and ours is fine. Don't use tap water it leaves stains on the windows and roofing material  

The Cabanon fitting allows for the rubbers to be replaced, that is why the plastic ring is there. If you do a search for replacing cabanon rubbers on tinternet there is a picture of how it's done. On my computer it's the first listing. Sorry I can't do links.

I'm not saying that other methods are not as good, just that this is what Cabanon suggest
