We are having to downsize and are really interested in the Quechua 4.2, as it takes no room up in the car. The only down side I can see is no real storage for muddy shoes etc... can anyone advice or give any tips?

I was looking seriously at the 4.2, to the extent of calling in to Decathlon when on my way to Leeds a while back. I was very impressed overall with it, but I can see it would be a bit short on living space for a family - as you've suggested some sort of porch would be useful!
As there's only me to cater for I've gone for a 4.1 instead - partly due to the current discounted price! That does have the storage space at one end to tuck things like shoes (and porta-pottis) in, but at the expense of the second bedroom area.
Hi we have the 4.2 (old green style) and twin the Base Seconds to it. It adds space for cooking, shoes, loo, etc. We love this set up with myself, hubby and daughters 13 and 8. We do have another BS which we could twin to the other BS to add even more space. Very quick and easy to pitch and strike.
