Hi.

I've searched the forums and found nothing on this.

We have an Outwell Carolina S. It's an excellent tent. We'd like to buy an extension for it. Outwell only made one for the Carolina M & L. I was wondering if anyone has found another manufacturer's extension which is compatible.

We want an extension to cook in & store things in in the event of rain.

I read the Carolina S reviews on here and a number of people suggested a Quechua tarp. We bought one but found it no good in wind.

We could buy a gazebo but they are big, heavy and dangerous in high wind. We'll get one if we find no alternative.

Has anyone found an extension which is compatible?

I have an Oakland M which is similar in design at the front (main steel pole, durawrap outrigger) and I have only ever used a tarp with it. Granted, it can be a bit hairy when its airy but dont have it up at night, only when you really need it. The tarp I use has lots of anchor points and that helps a lot. (DD Hammocks). I doubt if you would find some suitable extension.
