Hi
I've bought a second hand tent based on the reviews here (great advice, thanks to all who take the time to review- its so helpful)

It's a Gelert Atlantis 5 (no idea what year though :()and it arrived this morning. My youngest son and I eagerly unpacked it, all was fine, I went to make a cuppa before reading up on line about how to put it up as instructions were not included and when I got back the little cherub had pulled all of the individual poles off their elastics. I now have no idea how many poles go on each elastic, or even how many separate sets of poles there should be (I think he may have snapped one elastic but not sure. So either 3 or 4)

Has anyone got the same tent easily to hand who could be incredibly kind and let me know how many sticks on each pole? The one remaining pole has one bright yellow stick on it and is 10 sticks long. I've then got another 20 loose sticks- should I put another ten each on the other two elastics, or something else?

Thanks in advance. Son in doghouse, although at only 3 he's not really suffering :)

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

Your yellow stick is for over the bedroom and is slightly shorter than the other two poles, makes your repair easy as you just need two identical poles so share your remaining poles equally

If you have two triangle windows you have a 2011 model, the thin elongated windows were the earlier model.

Thank you so much- in my panic I miscounted so there were 22 loose poles, making 11 needed on each of the two empty elastics. So your advice about the yellow bedroom pole being a tad shorter is spot on, thanks heaps.

All now rethreaded and secured, I am busting to put it up but should really wait for daylight I suppose!

This forum is fab, such good advice available- thanks again.
