cant believe im saying this but i think ive finally found my tenting nirvana....
theres nothing else on the market thats turned my head this year....
have made a couple of alterations myself though, we now have a zip on front wall as well as the mesh front to enclose the front porch if the weather turns bad.....
Do you take this tent forsaking all others in sickness and in health till death do you part.....

It would have to be the outwell Yosemite falls I think so want that tent but no where to pitch an dry it out if it gets wet But would settle or the wolf lake 7 if they did a canopy for the front!!
------------- If the kids are quiet there upto no good!!
It's good to know there are some contented campers out there. I'm so fickle...each one someone suggests, I'm on the tent reviews, thinking 'oh yes, that is rather nice, maybe....'

I agree with the Karsten - and I have a 17 year old Karsten 350 - (faded) orange and sand, like a sunny beach... - which fullfills all my wishes. With comfort awning, awning (I put in windows) and front with windows. The only thing I lack is the zip-on sun tarp for the front.
But of course a 6 m Emperor would be nice too...

I don't have tent envy anymore as I love our Hypercamp Escala 4 and wouldn't want any other tent.
I just checked the Obelink website as it was recently only available in the superstore on there and the page for the Escala 4 has also gone! Perhaps they are just taking off the tents that are out of stock and aren't coming back in this year?

Cannot imagine us wanting any other tent than we have now Hypercamp Eldorado also have a Hypercamp Djakarta but think that has to go as there is just a little more room in the Eldorado
Thought I had got my dream tent till I saw the new polycotton airbeams today they are brilliant liked the shangra la 600 best the man at don valley tents let us inflate and deflate it it was so quick but at 1400 pounds a bit out of our price range
If cost were really no issue, I'd get three more lotus belle tents like the one we just bought, but i'd get them in 5 metre versions, and maybe a 6 metre version, and i'd get the manufacturers to make me some kind of joiny-upppy bit to link them all together. It would be a like the taj-mahal of the tent world!
Please may I be greedy and ask for two? Two of these De Waards (with the fully monty side screens and varioluifels etc) would be perfect - one for me and OH and one for the kids
