Hi

just got my Idaho Xl,tent off eBay. The left side roof looks very waterproof but the right looks like it needs a waterproof course. Though the tent is waterproof.

If I use Fabsil should I use their cleaner first, I take it this strips the waterproof course? Also would 2.5 litres of their proofer cover this big tent?

The waterproof membrane is on the inside on polyester tents and they shouldnt need to be reproofed if the material itself leaks then the tent is probably on the way out if the seams leak then they can be sealed with seam sealer. If you feel it necessary then there is no reason not to fabsil it and no it doesnt strip anything just cleans it
