Hi we went from a Bear lake to a Wolf lake then to the Stratos and so far we are happy.
Set up time is no quicker so dont be fooled by folk saying they are .
Great space inside both cabin ans awning.
Try to buy one with all the extras as these are hard to come by second hand and are expensive new !!
Heres a pic of mine a 2006 model just to temp you a little more ......

thanks for that picture , it looks superb, your just the sort of person we need to ask, as you've gone from the same sort of set up as us, would you fully recommend the change from bear lake to a trailer tent?. and is it in your opinion a step up? there's me and claire and our four children, we love the look of this model as its not too big, as long as we have bedroom space and a living area/porch , then we are fine, that's why we settled on the bear lake, some people suggested we needed a bigger model, but in my humble opinion i think some of the tents and trailer tents out there are just too big, more like airplane hangers.i'm trying to forget about it for a couple of months, then you send me that blo**dy lovely picture. cheers, gary

Hi Gary
Slightly bias im afraid as the Stratos was my dream tent since first seeing one, although i did love the Bear lake.
The Stratos is a great tent but no quicker to erect than the Bear. I like the fact there are no guy ropes and sleeping of the floor is better ( we have put a extra memory foam mattres on ours )
We have 2 kids and we have 2 underbed tents but use one side for storage ( both kids want to sleep in the underbed pods. The pods in my opinion are only big enough for 1 person,
We bought the tent without the kitchen unit because we already had our camping kitchen and dont like the large heavy kitchen unit.
The sun canopy on the front is a must and a great area to sit in
We have just purchased a Cabanon kitchen tent to try and make the tent and porch area clutter free
Any more questions please ask
A picture of our new kitchen tent ( sorry just like posting my pics )

Hi The living area is about the same as the bear !! might be a little larger. The canopy as you say is far better and when you add on the extra sun canopy it is a great area On our first couple of trips we used this area to cook as im not a fan of cooking in the tent but i found this to be annoying as i see the space more of a gathering area and sitting in an evening hence the purchase of the kitchen tent. I myself have no regrets but we did move to a wolf lake before we bought the stratos and i never got on with the wolf as it was just to big !!!!! IMO. I never really wanted to sell the bear if im really honest we had it for 4 years and it is a great tent. Hope you get sorted and don't regret the move. One other thing is the trailers are quite large and take up alot more space than the little erde 142 we used to have ( but it does tow alot better ). Tinny
