Hi there, am looking for some advice. We own a Gelert Zenith beast but its way too big for a spur of the minute, friday eve get away. We are wanting a weekend tent and I have looked at so many, my head is spinning. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 kids (8 & 5) and a toddler). We want something with a bit of living space and 2 bedrooms (don't have to be massive as we don't use air beds/camp beds). We are not fussed on weight, would like it not to leak (ha ha) and have windows/ventilation. If anyone has some ideas in the form of a short list I could work from that would be great. Not looking to spend more than £200 really. At the moment the ones that I have in my head are Vango Icarus 500 (is there a great deal of difference between 2011 and 2012 as only going to be used at weekends?) and Hi Gear Mojave. Any other suggestions out there? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi we have the Zenith, and last year did actually what you are doing. We got the Hi Corado four which to be honest is a bit big for a weekend tent. Our friends have the mojave 5 and the canopy and its fab. easy to erect and very wide. Good luck with your search.
We just got an Outwell Navada M as our weekend tent .
It's great , roomy & light , a side door with a little storm porch which is very useful, and it's quick & easy to put up , always a bonus with kids running around :)
Not sure what deals are around at the moment , but got ours for less than £200 a short while ago .
My first choice if you can find a good deal is the Outwell Nevada M great little tent for weekends quick and easy to pitch

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
