Hi this is not perfect but you loose about one tent pole length with the two attached, this is where the Awning passes over the tent and hooks onto the first pole. So , say about 1 meter for the overlap.
Our Monty 6 + Awning (2011) is around 8.5m long and the width is as the tent which is around 4.15m
Best to always declare your rig to the campsite when booking to make sure they dont give you bother when you get there..... most are OK.
