hi grayie allthough ive no experience with the mojave.

if the zips are too tight the fabric arround the door is being pulled to taught,proberbly from pegging the material to tightly, is the door open or closed when pitching?

we usually find we have to go arround the tent repegging and guying to iron out any irregularaties this dosent allways mean pegging the tent as tight as you can sometimes you need a little less on sides with doorways

there could of course be some kind of tent fault thats causing this, but would try fiddling with the pitching somemore.

theres no right or wrong way to pitch a tent its what works for you
