certainly the middle beam TBS would get in the way on the eternity

the two end ones dont but do look a little silly

but as ian said you dont have to use them and they pack away when not in use,

if it was a crazilly windy night and i were led in bed listening to the tent shake it would give me a little more reasurance with the TBS plugged in.

the rest of the time i wouldnt use them

How do they work any better than having the guy lines outside. (I know they have external guys as well).

 I know there are some normal tents that use this system as well.
