Me again, with another daft question.
As I've said before, we're new to all this and looking forward to our first trip.
We've practiced with our tent twice now - the first time wasn't brilliant but the second time it was much better. We got the tent through someone at work but there's no instructions!
There isn't a SIG but a separate one. My question is, should we put up the tent and then the groundsheet ? Or, could we put the groundsheet down and then the tent up round it? If we did it the latter way then we'd be able to have the poles in exactly the right place. Also, there are hoops on the groundsheet so we'd be able to hook it onto the poles and keep it secure. .
Is that ok or will it cause a problem ?
Thanks.

I'm definitely not an expert, but I used to put the groundsheet down first on my non-sig tent. I found it easier then to get the rest of the tent the right shape. Never pitched it in the rain though, that would make a difference I think
Do you know what make/model tent it is? I've had some tents that pitch the inner groundsheet first then the fly sheet (I believe that's the terminology!) over the top of that.
