We have just taken delivery of this tent and thought we would have a practice pitch in the garden before heading off this weekend.
Could someone tell me, should the two poles for holding up the side door come with guidelines ?
I get that the two metal pointed ends go through the metal holes in the flap but do they then stand on the ground or should they be pushed into the ground (even though there flat on the end).

Err - yes, you will need a couple of guylines to hold up the king (awning) poles, they are not supposed to be self supporting, don't push them into the ground. You can buy spare guys all over - Halfords for instance.

At least your tent came with king poles - they are optional extras for many tents.

hi the guys should be seperate in the tent bag becacause you attach them over the door fabric once the king poles are inserted!! this stops the door flappingn off!!

Yes it should definitely have guys with it in the bag. We have the same tent aswell as a sunncamp one and have actually just put it up today to decide whether to take this to France this year is stick with the sunncamp. Still undecided though as its massive so waste of time and energy afterall :)
