We are due to go away in August and as the weather is looking ropey, I would like some kind of canopy/porch to attach to the front so we don't get the inside wet when opening closing door etc.
I was wondering if anyone knew if the standard Vango sun canopy would work? Or is there anything else that would work.
Thanks
Shelley

You can get the porch for the Maritsa 700, we have it and it provides a great space and loads more room. We use it for the kitchen, and the attached porch we use for the table and chairs and the kids can play in there also, then there is loads of room in the main part also. We also purchased a carpet for the attached porch which is great.

2013 Nothing as yet , trying to get new boyfriend to go camping soon. Selling Maritisa 700 , so we can put it towards a VW Camper.
Hello cindy007, I have had a look at the enclosed porch but it is too big for what I want. I would like an open canopy so when its raining and I open the door the rain doesn't come in.
I bought a Vango front canopy a few years ago from Go Outdoors. Sorry, it was a spur of the moment thing as it was on sale for £12, so I didn't take much notice of which tent it was intended for. Not for the Maritsa (which we bought at the start of this year) but I tried it and while not a perfect fit it keeps the rain off the door and out of the tent. Not big enough to sit under though. Uses an elasticated top secured by guy lines and a fibreglass pole system to hold it's shape.
I'll see if I can find out which tent it was intended for.
Mind you, if you are fashion conscious it doesn't match the blue or green tents as it is black!
