I was wondering if it's possibleto repoof a sown in ground sheet? We were camping this week and our tent had puddles everywhere. probably our own fault for pitching at the bottom of a slope, and the wind kept blowing the tent front up and letting rain onto the footprint but i was surpised the sig leaked so much, had wet bedding and clothes.

do you think rubberised floor paint would work on the outside of the sewn in ground sheet.Just went on google and found that suggestion?

Don't see why not, another lighterbway would be a watered down mixture of Pva glue, I would look at your sig and try to identify any pin holes 1st and do them with a bit of duck tape, just hold it up to the light and they should be clear to see although a lot of fathing as you wil be inside the tent.
