We have an Outwell Montana 12 and are struggling to find an awning to fit it. I know Vermont l/xl awnings fit but they are proving difficult to find at reasonable prices (we only paid £300 for the tent plus carpet brand new!! So seems silly to spend the same again on an awning!) I keep checking on eBay/Gumtree etc for Vermont awnings but not a lot of luck so far. A friend of ours is selling a Montana 6 awning, could this be adapted to fit?

When we used our Monty 12 we had the outwell universal side canopy with it. Worked really well but not as big as an awning and not enclosed. Not sure if a monty 6 one would work as they are designed to fit to the front and monty 12 only has side doors. Great tent though. We just can't part with ours even though we hardly use it anymore!!

If I was stuck I would use the monty awning ,ok so you will have to walk around to get in but it gives u the extra space ,great if just for socialising ,just a thought
