I wrote a messgae to Gelert Customer services last month asking a Question about one of there tents, as yet I have had no reply, I have since sent them the same email and had no replie, Its nice to see they Value there customers ! I DONT THINK SO,
So my advise is dont buy a Gelert Tent They wont answer your emails !

I'm not under the impression that they are doing so well as a company. Kyham went belly up as well although I believe they had a management buy out. Whether that will work out or not I don't know..

Its ok I saved myself £60 buying the Khyam and its a bigger and pobably better tent than the Gelert,
So there loss for not mailing me!

Glad/Sad to hear it's not just us! Had a Gelert Ottawa4 for over four years, used and abused in all seasons and weathers, up to an including gale force winds in Pembrokeshire. It was brilliant. So, replaced with the upgraded 2012 model. Not impressed at all! Design has some good improvements, but the overall quality was much worse than out old model. Had to send the first one back, due to poles which had been partially sawn off, then snapped, causing fractures and sharp edges, plus patched holes in the groundsheet. worldofcamping were great 10 out of 10 for their customer service! they got us a replacement asap. Same problems! e-mailed Gelert, and had no response at all. Let battle commence!
I have to disagree. I've contacted them a few times in recent years and found them to be very helpful and also quite prompt in replying to my emails.
For the record, I've found the worst company of all to get any feedback to or from being Outwell. With nearly all issues having to be via a dealer. Not great if the dealer no longer exists!

I used the contact form for gelert recently and they emailed back two days later so I can't complain there. They didn't answer my query at all but at least they replied! I got a Saturn 8 and can't figure out how to attach the little canopy bit with the poles as it doesn't say in the instructions. So I emailed that query saying it doesn't say in the instructions how to do it and they sent me the instructions again! Duh!
